Brittney Spears and Anna Nicole

I have to admit that I see no real connection between Anna Nicole Smith and Brittany Spears. The fact that the Entertainment News media has connected them on E! News this week and in the current US Weekly made me think that they had gotten lazy.

It's like instead of covering the stories separately and coming up with a segueway they just combined the two. Case in point, they keep mentioning how Anna made a video request to be Brittney's friend last Spring. Personally, I thought that showed how low Brittney had sunk in public opinion. Now the gossip mags are saying it shows where Brittney will end up if she doesn't get her act together. That would be dead in a holding room in Florida? While several different people fight over your body, your money and your baby? And no one can guess where your baby came from because everyone knows you slept with all the people around you?

Really? I'm not convinced, it seems like lazy reporting when both celebrities stories are enough on their own to carry a show or article I have no idea why this point is being focused on...at least not enough to merit all the attention it's gotten this week. And now Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband claims he could be the father's baby? (Go look at Fox News archives from last week). I'm pretty sure Aaron Tonkin in the book 'King of Cons' states that he is totally gay, or at least bisexual. So..I guess that fits this circus.

Brittney, I don't know why she shaved her hair off, but I actually feel like maybe the media and people like me have gone too far. Really, I hated her as a big celeb before Kevin Federline. But I feel now we might all just be driving her crazy and the feeding frenzy continues..she was always a very desperate girl who seemed to need, not just want affection and attention even from fans. It turned me off personally, but now it seems to be killing her. And if she's an addict sooner or later it's death or sobriety, death or sobriety, death or sobriety.

Today Fox News announced that Brittney's ex Jason Alexander says she took drugs with him? Ectasy, Cocaine, Vicodine, and Valium. Sounds like someone is jealous that all her other exes get sooo much more media than him. I am waiting for another verifiable source to second that information. Also he must be awful desperate to admit he did all those drugs, hmmm.

BTW, I am trying to figure out this whole Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead scandal, my male and straight neighbor is convinced HKS wanted Anna dead because she 'slept with everyone but him'. I figured she slept with everyone and that included him? Eh, who knows but I don't buy this whole story that he never cared about her or the baby. Years ago on the Old E! show he seemed to have an obvious affection for her. Who do you think got her that gig, to events, or kept her lucid enough to have any career? He did, he may have given her the painkillers she asked for, but he was the hired help, and I don't know many employees that will argue with their meal ticket when it asks for something-even drugs. Just think, he was crazy enough to work for her....

Dirt and Ugly Betty

I love the show Ugly Betty, but I am rather worried about the plot tonight. It's airing as I write-the whole Alexis(played by Rebecca Romijin) plot is walking the line. I mean as long as no one kisses Alexis the transgender character who was formerly Alex-Daniel's long lost brother. It's just not a plot that is funny the ick factor is too high. On the other hand it does promise to be funny if it is played right..
Also I can't wait until Betty dumps Roger for good, he's too boring and I like her co-worker better..

DIRT- I hate to say it http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/dirt/ is going to go off the air. And it's not because Courtyney Cox is ugly, a bad actress, or even wrong. She's great on this show, she plays her character very well. Her performance is nuanced, shows some vunerability and her character's drive.

The show is actually well cast, attractive and interesting..the problem is the show fails to capture true nature of the Paparazzi/stalkerazzi industry. Lucy is way too nasty. She has almost none of the characteristics that I saw in people who actually worked in the Entertainment/gossip industry. The reality is that the people who work at these magazines, television networks and take the pictures are really the biggest fans.

They are just the craziest most obsessed fans more so than the people who read the magazines. They feel a kindred relationship with these people. When Julia Roberts and Ben Bratt broke up, everyone in my office was heartbroken and we knew first..when Jack Lemmon died we all felt so sad.

What turned me off is that I was not one of these people who wanted to spend my life thinking about Britney Spears and all these celebs who were glitzy enough and public enough for these productions. I wanted to do something more meaningful with my life.

What doesn't play well is that the whole show of Dirt is too overdone. Everything is too weird, it's too dramatic, Lucy is never pursuing pictures of babies or weddings...just the really nasty stuff. And the reality is I don't think a magazine as bad as Dirt would survive very long...the show is cliched and it's only been on for a month. I expect the drugged up actress to become gay, I expect the brother to want to ruin his cheating/pretending to be straight gay lover as happened this week. I expect Lucy to not want the cute down to earth guy because she's scared of intimacy..

I think the crux of the problem is this show was created by the people who hate the paparazzi. But I doubt they called in anyone who actually knew how they think..and they do want the story, it's just that behind the fierce story pursuit, the boundary pushing, and all of it, is money from sales, stories and ideas that were created by people who are just really nuts about the stars. And in the end it's mostly harmless and builds sales for movies, TV shows, books, and products. At least for the people who are not talented enough to avoid the limelight and just sell their talent and get success that way..

Elizabeth Wiskemann

One Forbes 400 richest people in the world in 2006. And I have a feeling will be again in 2007. I have recently switched into the field of Development which requires sleuthing and research-much like I did in PR. Except that in PR I was trying to hide the secrets-now I get to use them in my work.
Anyways, so my boss recently passed me some information on the reclusive billionaire. The only issue is that no one including other well established development people have been able to figure out something I found this week.. in fact the Forbes 400 list editors didn't even know what I found just using Google.
Elizabeth Wiskemann has children-she has three children to be exact.
