I had no interest in seeing Grindhouse-Quinten Tarantino's new movie, until I saw the E! special on the movie yesterday..why? The superb special effects especially the woman strapped to the hood for the longest craziest car chase I have ever seen.
It's sad, one PR promo and I am hooked when I didn't want to see it at all. The actress really is strapped to the hood, the driving is real, and Rosario Dawson really is in the car most of the time to help the actress have someone to respond to as the car is being driven.
I love the fact that QT has embraced women as fighters, heroes, and physical actors. It must be all about marketing because men love action with girls, and women can relate to the characters better.
